University Programs, Network Development Associate

Development Associate

Director, North Carolina Education Alliance

The Director will work with staff, school reformers, public officials, and others to promote education reform and choice in North Carolina.

Legal Policy Development Coordinator

A national non-profit public interest law and policy center seeks a highly motivated self-starter interested in legal/public policy to join its legal studies division team.

Economic Freedom Analyst

The Economic Freedom Analyst will research and analyze the nature, causes, and evolution of free societies; their work will help inform the Foundation’s grant-making strategy.

Communications Associate The Communications Associate's primary role is the production and marketing of a weekly radio program of the Foundation.

The Higher Education Analyst will inform the strategy of the Foundation’s higher education initiative by reviewing literature and conducting original research.

Finance Associate The Finance Associate is responsible for developing and managing internal accounting operations.

Management Associate

Communications Associate

The Communications Associate is responsible for developing and implementing a communications plan to enhance the organization's visibility, especially among smaller print and broadcast media outlets.

Development Officer

The Development Officer will develop and implement a fundraising plan for a statewide research/training organization and expand funding base beyond current reliance on small base of major donors.

Policy Analyst

The Policy Analyst will work to help inform elected decision makers, the media, and citizens about the costs and burden of government.

Development Associate

Junior Policy Analyst

The Junior Policy Analyst is responsible for conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis on policy issues related to state-level governance in North Carolina.

Program Officer for Institutional Advancement

The Program Officer will work to advance the core values of academic excellence, academic freedom, and accountability in higher education by advocating these values in the public sphere, augmenting the Council's financial resources, and developing and implementing new programs.

Program Officer for Alumni Affairs

The Program Officer will work to advance core values of academic excellence, academic freedom, and accountability in higher education by serving as a “go-to” resource for alumni who are concerned about these key issues.

Public Relations Associate for Internet Marketing

The Public Relations Associate for Internet Marketing will help the Center improve its brand awareness and outreach effectiveness by building our Internet and direct marketing capacities to our core audiences.

State-Based Policy Reform Analyst
The State-Based Policy Reform Analyst will study the way state and local tax policy is formed and how reformers might shape policy to better reflect the economic understanding of the effect of taxation on an economy; the analyst’s work will inform the Foundation’s grant-making strategy. 
Human Resource Associate
The Human Resource Associate will play an integral part in maintaining a streamlined hiring process for Foundation openings and talent initiatives.
Performance Measurement Associate

The Associate will assist in creating a strategic planning and measurement capability within the Foundation and developing strategies for cultivating a culture of measurement throughout the non-profit sector. 

Performance Measurement Coordinator
The Associate will join a new and growing field of results-oriented performance measurement and assist in managing the measurement initiative, ideal for a candidate interested in program management or organizational leadership.
Measurement Analyst
The Measurement Analyst will seek to identify and measure the causes of social change.
Policy Analyst

The Policy Analyst will conduct cutting-edge research in several fields to better understand how economic freedom is advanced and how it may be better promoted.  The Analyst will develop new and innovative solutions to important problems which will inform the Foundation’s programs and grant-making strategy.

Alternative Social Safety Net Analyst
The Alternative Social Safety Net Policy Analyst will help develop a coherent free market perspective on, and approach to, poverty alleviation.
Rhetoric & Reform Analyst
The Rhetoric & Reform Analyst will study the dissemination of ideas and the development of social movements in an attempt to understand what has made certain policy change movements successful and others not.
Government Burden Analyst

The Government Burden Policy Analyst will research and analyze key issues related to government growth, including spending history by administration and legislature, spending distribution (e.g. education, entitlement, defense, regulation), and other trends such as regulatory burdens and unfunded mandates. 

Principled Entrepreneurship Analyst
The Principled Entrepreneurship Analyst will conduct research designed to better understand the social, moral, and legal obligations of a principled entrepreneur operating in a free society.
Government & Business Performance Analyst
The Government & Business Performance Analyst will compare the long-run success of firms which profit via political means with that of firms which profit by economic means. 
Research Facilitator
The Research Facilitator will work with the policy analysts and other experts outside the Foundation to more-effectively promote social change.
State Policy Analyst

The State Policy Analyst is responsible for researching and reporting on the latest trends in economic public policy (tax, spending, and regulation issues) at the state level. 

Government Accountability Project Program Associate

The Program Associate will be responsible for coordinating accountability research at the state level, including helping to refine measurement data, developing contracts with appropriate scholars, creating reports on results, and tracking results and outreach efforts. 

Science Policy Analyst
The Associate will be one of a team of seven staff or adjunct policy analysts. Current analyst assignments are education, law and regulation, fiscal policy, local government, transportation, and general assignment.
Development & Marketing Associate
The primary job function is to advance the organization's mission through the coordination of grant proposals, reports, donor correspondence, and research. The Associate will also assist in developing creative and effective marketing concepts and outreach products.
Research Assistant/Policy Analyst
The Research Assistant/Policy Analyst helps to develop opportunities to increase patient choice and control in health care, allowing consumers to make decisions according to their individual preferences and priorities. 
Public Affairs Associate for Media Relations
The Public Relations Associate for Media Relations will work to enhance the Center’s visibility and public image by gaining positive media placements for its scholars and research.
Assistant Director, Faculty Division
The Associate will be assisting our faculty division and helping the director and deputy director.
Research Director
The work of the Research Director includes developing new research projects; identifying scholars to tackle the work; helping to draft fundraising proposals; collaborating with colleagues on up to a dozen research studies at any given time; writing policy studies; editing drafts of research reports; evaluating the research methodologies of our reports, and those of other organizations; helping to develop dissemination strategies; leading the organization's Scholars program; and myriad other tasks.

Donor Relations Associate

The Donor Relations Associate will sustain and enhance the internal operations of the organization's donor relations efforts.  

Communications Associate

The Communications Associate will market the work of the Foundation through specific products (print publications and the Web) and launch a public relations effort to generate media interest in the organization and its partners in the global freedom movement.

Web-Media Associate
The Associate will develop and implement strategies for advancing the organization's mission via emerging Internet technologies.
Program Associate

The Program Associate will assist with all aspects of running programs. Associate will undertake various aspects of event planning, work with volunteer leadership, and communicate with members.

Development Associate

The Development Associate will assist with all aspects of fundraising.  Ideal Associate will be detail-oriented, organized, people-oriented, and have an interest in the current state of legal order.

Research Assistant
The Associate will act as the president's research assistant on a project to "legitimize" capitalism: assisting the business community in reducing its political vulnerabilities, clarifying to them how to better manage the political side of their operations.
Legislative Assistant
The Legislative Assistant will assist the Center in processing all legislative matters relating to tax competition.
Development Coordinator
The Development Coordinator will assist in executing the Center’s fundraising strategy.
Online Marketing Manager
The Online Marketing Manager will increase the number of qualified prospects for and applicants to the organization's programs by developing and executing the institute's online marketing strategy.
Alumni Relations Coordinator
The Alumni Relations Coordinator will help leverage/enhance our network of staff, allies, and alumni by working closely with the organization's director of alumni relations.
Journalism Program Director
The Journalism Program Director will help to cultivate future journalists who understand and appreciate freedom's contribution to peace and prosperity by developing and executing programs aimed at developing the careers of young, aspiring journalists who have a strong interest in liberty.
Academic Programs Director
The Academic Programs Director will help to develop the careers of aspiring professors interested in liberty by developing and executing programs that provide future liberty-advancing academics with intellectual support, financial assistance, and career guidance.
Executive Assistant
The Executive Assistant plays a critical role in advancing the organization's mission by providing support to the organization's president and COO, allowing them to focus on the highest-valued uses of their time.
Academic Program Officer
The Academic Program Officer will build and strengthen the Institute's academic network by contributing to efforts to develop institutional knowledge of existing faculty in our network, growing our faculty network, mentoring graduate students, and running select programs for aspiring academics.
Development Associate

Event Planning Associate
The Foundation works to expand the message of limited government and lower taxes through our summits. We host a national grassroots conference bringing over 1,500 grassroots activists to our nation's capital to share ideas and hear from strong national speakers. The Event Planning Associate will be responsible for assisting in the logistics of these functions.
Legislative Assistant – Tax & Fiscal Policy
The Council is looking for an individual who is willing to assist our policy expert in tax & fiscal policy.
Policy & Internship Coordinator

This position has three main functions: assistant to the senior director of policy & strategic initiatives, coordinate on behalf of the policy department with all the other departments within the organization, and overall management of the Internship Program.

Education Watch Director
The Education Watch Director will help to shape the debate on school choice by tracking the activities, leadership, and funding sources of non-profit policy advocacy groups that either support or oppose school choice and education reform.
National Field Director
The National Field Director will form chapters, plan events at local chapters, help local chapters secure event grants, and where possible, help prepare the local chapters to obtain operational grants from universities.
Wisconsin Director

The Wisconsin Director will manage the flagship Collegian chapter at the University of Wisconsin and coordinate chapters in the region.

State Environmental Watch Research Associate
The Research Associate monitors and reports on grassroots environmental advocacy groups working at the state and local levels.
Policy Analyst
The Policy Analyst is responsible for conducting scholarly research and communicating the findings through policy papers, reports, opinion articles, and in public and media appearances.
Marketing & Communications Manager

The Marketing & Communications Manager will be responsible for the development, production, and fulfillment of the organization’s marketing programs, including direct mail, Web, and print/online advertising. 

State Policy Analyst
The Associate will research state tax and economic policy, analyze impact on the state's economy, and produce detailed studies for release to media and other public opinion outlets.
Transparency Project Associate
The Associate will compile and analyze data on Maryland budget and pension contracts.
Program Associate
The Foundation seeks a Program Associate for administrative duties and, depending on interest and experience, program officer duties.
Strategic Administrator
Under the leadership of the vice president of administration, the strategic administrator will develop benefit plans, procedures, and documents for the Foundation.
Media Relations Manager

State Tax Economist
The State Tax Economist is responsible for researching and writing various studies, reports, and op-eds on current tax and spending issues at the state or local level. The position requires developing entrepreneurial projects that advance the reach and effectiveness of the Foundation’s state tax policy agenda.
Publications Associate
The Publications Associate will assist the publications department in writing, researching, and editing material for the organization's magazine, website, and guidebooks. The Publications Associate will also assist the development director in drafting reports and proposals.
Production Assistant
Our organization is looking for talented individuals to join the production team and assist in the creation of mini-documentaries and other content.

Program Associate - Legal Reform

The Associate will conduct legal reform research in the areas of over-criminalization and civil justice reform including tracking current developments within the legal reform movement at the state and federal level. The Associate will also develop a strategy to educate key decision makers at the state and federal level on ways the legal system could be changed to ensure that it is utilized as a tool in wealth creation and not wealth destruction or wealth transfer.

Academic Research and Programs Coordinator

The Associate will assist in developing institutional knowledge of faculty in our academic network and assist with programs for aspiring and current academics in our network. Candidates must possess an entrepreneurial spirit, intellectual curiosity, a demonstrated attention to detail, excellent written communication skills, and a strong understanding of and appreciation for classical liberal principles (individual rights, free markets, limited government, voluntarism, and peace).
