After the Program

Through continual development and engagement with our alumni network, we are committed to helping every intern successfully advance liberty after the program.

Where interns go
Whether returning to undergraduate studies, looking to land a job at a think tank, beginning to pursue a graduate degree, or even earning a full-time position in the Koch Associate Program, we’ll help you to find opportunities that are right for you.

Three fall 2009 interns: Where are they now?
Gonzalo Schwarz interned as a research assistant at the Mercatus Center last fall. He is currently pursuing a PhD in economics at George Mason University while working as a program associate at Atlas Economic Research Foundation.

Michelle Johnson is continuing the work she started as an intern at the Foundation last fall by developing and implementing healthcare research projects as a member of the Foundation's policy team. She is also a part of the 2010-11 Koch Associate Program.

Joana Serpa-Polo first interned with the Foundation's higher education team, but then moved into a full-time position as a human resources assistant. She is now a key part of the selection process for the Foundation's talent programs.

Alumni network
The alumni network continues to support interns after the program, through continuing career guidance, MBM® workshops, alumni networking events, and other professional development opportunities.

Our alumni network is always growing and includes over 500 past participants of the Koch Internship Program, Koch Associate Program, and other talent programs.  We encourage alumni to join the online alumni community and to remain in contact with us throughout their careers.
